Warehouse Receiving Associate

THE POSITION:

We are currently looking for the best and brightest warehouse employee to join our Kinter Family! If you have keen eye for detail, strong work ethic, and experience in picking, packing or shipping; then Kinter is the company for you. The pay range for this role is fixed at $19 to $21 hourly, commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

Manage receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of receipts such as:

• Assure no damaged items are received
• Properly inspect and sample count purchase orders to ensure quality and inventory accuracy
• Compare supplier packing lists with company purchase orders to ensure 2-way match
• Update and post inventory records as products are received
• Account for the location of inbound materials
• Operate warehouse vehicles (forklift, stock picker, reach truck, etc.)
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Accounting to arrange for product returns to vendors
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to read, speak, and write English.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred (2+ years).
• Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 40 lbs.
• Available to work 40+ hours per week with overtime on an as needed basis.
• Desire to work in a fast paced environment.

THE LOCATION:

Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth. Warehouse located off of IL Route 41, which makes the commute easy from surrounding towns.
