Our warehouse team plays an important role in making sure flooring materials are received, inspected, organized, and prepared accurately for our customers and installation crews. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, dependable Warehouse & Inventory Associate to support our daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has at least two years of warehouse experience and takes pride in organization, accuracy, product quality, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys physical work, pays attention to details, and understands the importance of getting the right materials to the right place at the right time. Key Responsibilities · Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify materials against purchase orders and receiving documents. · Inspect incoming products for damage, defects, color or product discrepancies, and other quality concerns. · Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and organized. · Pull, stage, and prepare flooring materials for customer orders and scheduled installations. · Assist with loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently. · Identify inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and shortages, and report issues promptly. · Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure materials are stored safely. · Follow established procedures for inventory control, receiving, material handling, and quality assurance. · Work collaboratively with warehouse, sales, purchasing, and installation teams to keep daily operations running smoothly. Qualifications · Minimum of two years of warehouse experience, preferably in receiving, shipping, inventory control, or material handling is preferred · Experience unloading trucks, receiving inventory, checking shipments, and preparing materials for orders. · Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify damaged or defective products. · Good organizational skills and a commitment to accurate inventory records. Computer skills are a plus · Ability to read order documents, follow instructions, and communicate discrepancies clearly. · Comfortably perform physical warehouse duties and handling bulky flooring materials. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. · Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. · Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen. · Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. · Forklift or other material-handling equipment experience is a plus. What We Offer · Competitive hourly pay based on experience. · Consistent weekday schedule of 40 hours. · After 90 days, the candidate can start participating in various insurance programs, such as medical, vision, dental, and/or life insurance. · After 1 year of employment, the candidate can participate in a 401k plan with a company match of up to 4% of what the candidate puts in.
