Warehouse Receiving and Production Clerk
TCT Circuit SupplyTCT Circuit Supply is seeking a Warehouse Receiving & Production Clerk to support receiving, inventory, and production paperwork. This position combines hands-on warehouse work with computer-based tasks, including creating work orders, entering production information, and posting completed work orders in our inventory system. The right candidate is comfortable using computers, pays attention to details, and can keep materials and records organized while supporting daily warehouse needs. Key Responsibilities · Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, part numbers, lot numbers, and condition against purchase orders and packing slips. · Enter receipts into the inventory system and report shortages, damage, or discrepancies. · Label and put away materials in the correct locations while maintaining accurate inventory records. · Create and print production work orders according to order requirements and scheduling instructions. · Review completed work orders for accurate quantities, material usage, and required documentation before posting. · Enter production results and post completed work orders in the system after required checks and approvals. · Work with production and management to resolve missing information or discrepancies before completing transactions. · Assign and stage materials for production, and return unused or completed materials to the appropriate inventory locations. · Assist with picking, verifying, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. · Perform cycle counts and help investigate inventory discrepancies. · Maintain organized receiving documents, work orders, and inventory records. · Communicate material shortages and order issues that could affect production or shipments. · Keep work areas clean and organized, follow safety procedures, and operate warehouse equipment only after required training and authorization. Required Qualifications · Comfortable using computers for daily data entry, email, and basic Microsoft Excel tasks. · Ability to learn inventory and production software and follow written procedures. · Strong attention to detail when checking part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and documents. · Good organizational skills and the ability to manage several assignments throughout the day. · Ability to communicate clearly with receiving, production, and shipping teams. · Basic math skills for counting materials and verifying quantities. · Dependable attendance and a responsible approach to safety and accuracy. · Willingness to perform both computer-based tasks and hands-on warehouse work. Preferred Qualifications · Experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, production support, or shipping. · Experience creating, processing, or posting work orders. · Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Business Central, or a similar inventory system. · Experience using handheld scanners and working with lot-controlled materials. · Forklift experience or willingness to complete company-provided training. Physical Requirements This role involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving materials, along with computer work.
