Warehouse Receiver Day Shift

Position Summary The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming products in a busy food distribution warehouse. This role helps ensure products are counted accurately, labeled correctly, and handled in accordance with food safety and company procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive incoming deliveries and inspect products for damage, quality, and accuracy. Verify products and quantities against purchase orders using an RF scanner. Report shortages, damaged products, labeling errors, and other discrepancies promptly. Identify and report suspicious or potentially hazardous items. Label, sort, palletize, and stage products according to receiving procedures. Use pallet jacks to move products safely. Follow HACCP requirements, sanitation procedures, and company safety policies. Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and clear of obstructions. Work with warehouse team members to maintain an efficient flow of incoming products. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse receiving experience required , including inspecting deliveries, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and identifying discrepancies. Experience using an RF scanner and pallet jack. Strong attention to detail and accurate counting skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse. Able to follow receiving, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Previous food distribution experience preferred.
