Warehouse Receiver/Counter Sales (Parksville)

As a Warehouse Receiver/Counter Salesperson at Andrew Sheret Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently organizing the incoming inventory, while having the opportunity to serve customers in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving shipments, verifying their contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damages, accurately recording inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and efficient receiving process and with counter staff to round out your knowledge and skills. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate forklift, hand cart or pallet jack for loading and unloading inventory Create quotes to meet customers needs Respond to customer inquiries in person and over the phone Endless opportunities for advancement Receive and verify incoming shipments Unpack, put away and organize stock Assist customers with loading vehicles Clean and organize the warehouse and yard Capable of lifting 50lbs minimum an asset Essential: Excellent organizational skills Knowledge of machinery used to transport and store materials General understanding of inventory General knowledge of workplace safety Ability to work well with others Strong problem solving skills Completion of Grade 12 Data entry skills Desirable: Familiar with industry and/or products Previous warehouse/retail experience Since 1892, ANDREW SHERET LIMITED has specialized in providing a large inventory of plumbing and heating products to customers in Western Canada.
