Do you have what it takes? THE POSITION: We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Receiver to join our team at Cargo International Consolidators, Inc. The Warehouse Receiver will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments of cargo. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager and provides data and administrative support within the warehouse with a schedule of Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm and overtime required. JOB DESCRIPTION Receive incoming shipments of cargo and freight Conduct thorough inspections of deliveries for accuracy and quality Verify quantities and ensure compliance with shipping documentation Record received items accurately in our warehouse management system Safely and efficiently store received cargo in designated warehouse locations Communicate effectively with freight carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse facility Assist with other warehouse duties and projects as needed SKILLS Great communication; communicates verbally and/or in writing with other workers, management and others as necessary. Previous experience with safe operation of forklift Must be able to interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate mathematical values Must have a working knowledge of internet software usage, freight software and word processing software. Must be knowledgeable in warehousing procedures. Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely Bilingual (English & Spanish) Required.
