Warehouse Receiver
Deckhouse Ship Supply*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated Receiver to join our team. The Receiver will be responsible for accurately receiving and documenting all incoming shipments to our distribution center. *Responsibilities* - Unload trucks and verify contents against shipping documents by using a forklift. - Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and expiration dates. - Sort, label, and store items in designated areas using a pallet jack or forklift. - Collaborate with the loaders to ensure timely order fulfillment - Assist with picking and preparing pallets when receiving is not busy. *Requirements* - Prior experience in warehouse environment and driving forklifts and using pallet jacks. - Proficiency in basic math for inventory counting and reconciliation - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail for expiration dates and item discrepancies. -MUST KNOW HOW TO USE A FORKLIFT Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77032 (Required) Work Location: In person
