Warehouse/Purchasing Clerk (Charlotte, NC)

ABOUT US Amped Electric, an electrical contracting company, is looking for a Warehouse / Purchasing Clerk to join our growing team. This is a full-time position working in our Charlotte, NC location . We value teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail as we support our crews and keep projects running smoothly. RESPONSIBILITIES Order electrical materials, tools, and supplies needed for upcoming projects. Prepare, process, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, availability, order status, and delivery timelines. Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages. Pull, organize, and stage materials for scheduled projects and field crews. Track material usage, returns, and restocking needs. Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, and office staff to confirm material requirements. Identify and communicate material shortages, order discrepancies, and delivery delays. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with inventory counts and periodic audits. Drive to local job sites and supply houses to deliver materials. Perform other related warehouse and purchasing duties as needed. REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in warehouse operations, purchasing, inventory management, or a related role preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn purchasing and inventory management software. Ability to accurately track orders, maintain records, and follow established procedures. Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to lift, move, and organize materials as required for warehouse operations. Electrical, construction, or building materials experience is a plus.
