McLaughlin's Energy Services – Waynesboro, PA Full-Time | Monday–Friday Job Description McLaughlin's Energy Services is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse & Propane Operations Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for helping keep our warehouse, yard, and service operations organized and running efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory, loading and unloading service vehicles, operating a forklift, maintaining propane tanks and cylinders, and assisting our HVAC, propane, and generator technicians with equipment and materials. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things organized, and is willing to help wherever needed. Previous warehouse, forklift, or propane experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Inventory Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard Receive incoming deliveries and verify materials and quantities Properly store and organize HVAC equipment, parts, generators, propane equipment, and other inventory Assist with regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records Restock shelves and designated storage areas Identify low-stock items and communicate inventory needs Help maintain an efficient warehouse layout so materials can be easily located Service Technician Support Help prepare and stage equipment and materials for scheduled HVAC, propane, and generator jobs Load and unload service trucks and installation vehicles Assist technicians with locating parts, equipment, and materials Help keep commonly used service and installation materials stocked and readily available Receive and organize returned equipment, unused materials, and parts from completed jobs Assist with loading and unloading furnaces, heat pumps, generators, propane tanks, and other equipment Propane Cylinder & Tank Operations Safely fill propane cylinders in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements Inspect propane cylinders and tanks for visible damage or condition concerns Assist customers with propane cylinder filling and related services Perform basic maintenance and preparation of propane tanks Sand, grind, clean, prepare, and paint propane tanks as needed Assist with organizing and maintaining the company's propane cylinder and tank inventory Follow all company procedures for safely handling propane and propane equipment Propane training can be provided to the right candidate. Forklift & Equipment Operation Safely operate a forklift to move propane tanks, generators, HVAC equipment, and other heavy materials Load and unload delivery trucks and company vehicles Perform required forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns Safely use hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment Follow company and applicable workplace safety procedures Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license required Previous warehouse, yard, inventory, or light industrial experience preferred Forklift experience or certification preferred Previous propane experience is a plus, but not required Mechanical aptitude and comfort using basic hand and power tools Ability to complete required propane, forklift, and safety training Ability to safely lift, move, and handle equipment and materials associated with warehouse operations Basic computer and recordkeeping skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We're Looking For The right person for this position is: Dependable and punctual Organized and attentive to detail Safety-conscious Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work Willing to learn new skills Able to prioritize tasks and keep the warehouse organized Comfortable interacting professionally with customers, vendors, technicians, and coworkers Willing to step in and help the team when needed Someone who takes ownership of t…
