Job Summary The Production Coordinator supports daily Value-Added Services (VAS) operations by coordinating production orders, maintaining accurate production data, ensuring material availability, tracking project status, and supporting on-time completion of customer requirements. This position works closely with the Production Manager, Production Leads, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, and other departments to coordinate priorities, resources, labor, and customer requirements while supporting quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Production Planning and Coordination Create, process, and maintain production orders in company systems. Upload and process daily customer production files, including AM, PM, Home Depot, Lowe's, and other customer-specific requests. Enter new jobs into the Webb application and other required systems. Verify production quantities, customer requirements, ship dates, work instructions, specifications, special notes, and tracking classifications. Coordinate production priorities and communicate workload requirements to Production Leads and department personnel. Support daily production scheduling and monitor projects through completion. Identify and communicate potential delays, scheduling conflicts, or resource constraints. Data and Project Management Maintain accurate and timely production records and system transactions. Track projects from creation through completion. Monitor data integrity and resolve discrepancies. Generate production and operational reports as needed. Support KPI, productivity, forecasting, and workload reporting. Maintain complete and auditable production documentation. Materials and Inventory Monitor material requirements and coordinate availability with Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Warehouse Operations. Support inventory accuracy for display components, such as corrugate, packaging materials, and or repack supplies. Coordinate storage locations for active and future projects and communicate locations to production personnel. Monitor and replenish production consumables such as tape, stretch wrap, strapping, buckles, pallets, spray adhesive, and other supplies. Identify inventory discrepancies, reduce material waste, and maintain organized production and storage areas. Labor and Operational Support Work with the Production Manager to assess staffing and labor requirements based on production volume and workload. Communicate staffing needs, production priorities, and workload expectations to Production Leads. Support temporary staffing and workforce planning as needed. Assist with identifying workflow and labor utilization improvements. Quality and Compliance Perform system and physical audits to verify production and inventory accuracy. Conduct quality checks on production documentation and completed work. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, work instructions, and company standards. Identify and communicate quality issues and assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Communication and Safety Serve as a key communication link between Production, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Management. Communicate project updates, priorities, schedule changes, and operational concerns promptly. Participate in production meetings and operational reviews. Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report hazards, incidents, and near misses. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, logistics, or Value-Added Services. Experience coordinating production orders, projects, schedules, or workflow. Strong computer skills and experience with production, inventory, or operational systems.
