Warehouse Production Assistant (Full Time) - Houston, TX

WAREHOUSE PRODUCTION ASSISTANT A leader in the plastics industry is looking for a hands-on, dependable person to join our team in Houston. You'll be part of a small, close-knit team that builds commercial and residential skylights from start to finish. If you like working with your hands, take pride in quality work, and want to learn a trade, we'll train you. HOURS : Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm. COMPENSATION : $18.00/hour + benefits (overtime as needed) WHAT YOU'LL DO: Cut, form, and assemble acrylic and polycarbonate skylight components Assemble and fasten skylight frames using power and hand tools Read measurements and work orders to build to spec Inspect finished units for quality before they ship Package, label, and load finished skylights for customer orders and will-call pickups Keep your workstation, tools, and shop clean and organized Support the team wherever needed. On a crew of three, everyone pitches in. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Power tool experience required Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs Experience with fabrication, carpentry, sheet metal, glazing, or plastics is a big PLUS, but we'll train the right person Comfortable using a tape measure and doing basic shop math Forklift experience preferred, not required 18+ years old with a clean driving record Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Dependable, with excellent attendance. On a small team, attendance is a BIG deal. Detail-oriented. Our customers count on skylights that fit right and don't leak.
