Warehouse & Production Assistant / Driver

Overview I & D Innovation Design is looking for a reliable, proactive, and organized Warehouse & Production Assistant / Driver to support our custom millwork production facility in Hialeah. This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse organization, material and inventory control, local pickups and deliveries, and daily support to our production team. This person will also help maintain communication between our Miami shop and our Production Manager when questions arise regarding drawings, materials, measurements, or production details. Responsibilities Receive, unload, organize, label, and store materials and supplies. Organize materials by project and help maintain accurate inventory records. Work closely with the administrative/purchasing assistant to track incoming and outgoing materials. Make local pickups and deliveries of materials, hardware, supplies, and project-related items. Load and unload company vehicles as needed. Prepare and distribute shop drawings, plans, and project information to the production team. Assist shop personnel when questions arise regarding drawings, measurements, materials, or project instructions by communicating with the Production Manager. Take photos, verify measurements or material information, and communicate shop conditions when requested. Report missing materials, discrepancies, damaged items, or production needs. Assist with material preparation for production and installation crews. Maintain the warehouse and material storage areas clean, organized, and safe. Provide general support to the production team as needed. Requirements Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Comfortable making local pickups and deliveries. Organized and able to keep track of materials for multiple projects. Comfortable using a smartphone, WhatsApp, email, photos, and digital documents. Basic ability to understand measurements and shop drawings is preferred. Experience in warehouse operations, construction, cabinetry, millwork, or similar environments is preferred but not required. Able to lift and move materials safely. Reliable, punctual, proactive, and comfortable communicating with different members of the team.
