Warehouse/Production Assistant

The Production Assistant role is essential to ensuring consistent, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output goals and uphold Genteel Coatings’ standards of excellence. Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, including freight scheduling, bill of lading preparation, and carrier coordination. Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and maintain accurate inventory records. Ensure all outgoing shipments meet customer requirements and internal quality standards. Operate mixers, pumps, scales, filling lines, labeling systems, and other production equipment safely and accurately. Measure, weigh, and prepare raw materials such as resins, solvents, pigments, and additives. Support batching and mixing processes according to established formulas and quality specifications. Fill, seal, label, and package finished products for distribution across multiple industries. Maintain warehouse organization, stock rotation, and clean, orderly production areas. Complete production logs, batch records, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Assist with quality control processes including viscosity checks, color evaluation, and product consistency testing. Follow all safety protocols, including proper chemical handling and PPE usage.
