Warehouse Picker/Packer and Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Overview GEWA Music USA is searching for a Picker/Packer and Shipping/Receiving Clerk to help us with our basic warehouse operations. In this position, you will work in our distribution center, packing, labeling, and scanning outgoing shipments. You will also be assisting with our shipping and receiving department to receive incoming goods and ship outgoing products on a daily basis. Our ideal applicant has general warehouse experience however, we will work with any applicants that have a strong work ethic and flexibility needed for this position. This is a full-time position with eligibility for company benefits after probationary time is completed. Picker/Packer Duties and Responsibilities · Receive orders for outgoing shipments · Find the products on our warehouse shelves · Pack the products and apply a label · Scan the label and put the package on an outgoing truck · Log orders to keep the inventory up-to-date Picker/Packer Requirements and Qualifications · High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred) · Warehouse or assembly line experience · A keen eye for detail · Strong organization skills Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Requirements Physically fit and able to lift heavy items Attention to detail and accuracy in receiving and counting inventory Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret invoices and packing slips Availability to work flexible hours Warehouse receiving soft skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and vendors Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized receiving area Positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges Reliability and dependability to ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Experience: Forklift: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Ability to Commute: New Hartford, CT 06057 (Required) Ability to Relocate: New Hartford, CT 06057: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
