Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our warehouse operations and grow within a thriving organization. Duties Accurately pick items using barcode scanning systems and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Pack products securely, ensuring proper labeling and packaging materials are used to prevent damage during transit. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments with attention to safety protocols, verifying inventory against shipping documents. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for tracking stock levels. Conduct quality control checks on picked and packed items to ensure order accuracy before shipment. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, order picking, packing, or distribution environments. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology. Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse work including PPE use and heavy equipment operation.
