Warehouse Picker/Packer

Job Summary As a Warehouse Picker/Packer, you’ll help keep warehouse operations moving by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You’ll use warehouse equipment and scanning tools to handle products safely, maintain inventory accuracy, and support reliable order fulfillment. This hands-on role suits candidates with warehouse experience who are ready to work actively and follow clear safety procedures. Duties Pick items using order lists, an order picker, or a radio-frequency (RF) scanner; verify products with barcode scanning for logistics. Pack and label orders, prepare shipments, and support shipping and receiving. Load and unload deliveries, stock products, and move materials using pallet jacks. Forklift certification is a plus. Update the warehouse management system and inventory management systems to track stock and order progress. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and apply safe manual handling practices when lifting or moving heavy items. Skills Essential: Basic math, attention to detail, order picking, picking and packing, packaging, order fulfillment, inventory management, stocking, and warehouse distribution. Essential: Warehouse operations, materials handling, load and unload tasks, and safe use of material handling equipment. Essential: Ability to perform heavy lifting, walking and standing for extended periods and follow safety procedures; experience with RF scanners or barcode scanning is useful. Preferred: Experience operating forklifts is an asset.
