Warehouse Picker/Packer

Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Picker/Packer, where your energy and attention to detail will drive efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support timely deliveries, and uphold the highest standards of quality. Duties Use RF scanners and barcode scanning technology to accurately pick and verify orders in accordance with order specifications. Operate various material handling equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials while adhering to safety and quality standards. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing stock locations, and conducting regular stock counts using warehouse management systems (WMS). Ensure proper manual handling techniques are used during picking, packing, and load/unload processes to prevent injuries. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Assist with shipping & receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders against shipping documents, and maintaining accurate records of inbound and outbound goods. Qualifications Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of basic math for counting and measuring items. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, materials handling equipment operation, and warehouse safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control during order picking and packing processes.
