Warehouse Picker/Packer

Job Summary As a Warehouse Picker/Packer, you’ll keep orders moving accurately and safely through warehouse operations. You’ll pick products, verify items with barcode scanning, pack shipments, and help maintain organized inventory. Your impact: Accurate order fulfillment helps customers receive the right products in good condition and on time. Duties Pick and pack orders using an order picker, reach truck, cherry picker, forklift, or pallet jack as authorized. Scan barcodes with a radio-frequency (RF) scanner and update records in the warehouse management system. Check product quantities and condition; support inventory management, stocking, and quality control. Load and unload deliveries, prepare packaging, and assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse distribution. Follow safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and handle materials and heavy loads safely. Requirements Warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations, order picking, picking and packing, and packaging are preferred. Basic math skills and attention to detail for checking orders, counts, and inventory records. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, and to operate material handling equipment safely. Experience with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, or barcode scanning for logistics is an asset. Reach truck, order picker, forklift, pallet jack, or heavy equipment operation experience is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
