Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Responsibilities Efficiently pick orders using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and speed. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, updates in inventory management systems, and quality control checks. Pack products securely for shipping while adhering to packaging standards and safety protocols. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and documentation. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and warehouse safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, or similar heavy machinery. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Prior experience in warehouse operations including order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, stock replenishment, and quality control. Knowledge of safety standards related to warehouse distribution including PPE use and heavy equipment operation. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
