Warehouse Personnel

Warehouse Position - Inventory and Order Picking Personnel We are a stocking distributor of board-level electronic components. We are hiring for entry level positions. We provide all on-the-job training in the electronic components field. Starting pay is $17.50/hr. There is potential for growth into our order-picking team, shipping, and receiving departments. Start by putting away electronic components into our inventory through our company database. Starting responsibilities may include but are not limited to: · Sort and fix parts as needed (ie. straighten leads, separate manufacturers, clean parts) · Learn to identify parts by manufacturer, type of part, date code, part number, and quality of part (ie. pull or new) · Learn to identify parts by use of color code bands and conversion codes by memory · Filling out inventory tags · Physical count of inventory · Organize in-house stock · Textbook research of part numbers · Configuration of part numbers according to company charts and part codes · Good housekeeping of workstations, weekly cleanups, and good general upkeep of inventory staging areas Minimum Requirements · High School Diploma or Equivalent · Ability to work full-time , 40 hrs. per week , potential for overtime. · You must be motivated, ready to work now, with a positive attitude, and show up on time, every Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. · Skills in performing detailed work in an accurate and organized manner, with a sense of urgency, and minimal outside distractions. · No Drama. · Ability to work well with others, in groups, as part of a team, or minimally supervised. · Ability to frequently lift, push, and carry packages. Sometimes up to 50 lbs. Physically capable of the work expected. · Good time management. · General Computer Knowledge is a plus.
