Nova Staffing IncJob Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Parts Coordinator to join our client's team. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of mechanical components essential for our manufacturing and maintenance operations. Responsibilities Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments, company Health and Safety Policy, and all applicable GMP policies and procedures to ensure control of all safety hazards. Follow the 5S organization method and keep the parts stockroom and receiving area clean, organized, clearly labelled, and accessible. Support the Parts Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator with day-to-day parts entries and stockroom tasks as assigned. Create and QR code parts records in CyFrame and INTERAL so that every part — including legacy and existing stock — is uniquely tagged, scannable, and accurately recorded in the system. Enter and verify part details such as part numbers, descriptions, storage locations, and quantities so that system records match physical stock. Print, apply, and verify QR code labels on parts, bins, and shelf locations; replace missing or damaged labels. Scan parts to confirm each QR code links to the correct record, and correct any mismatches found. Identify, sort, and catalogue old and uncoded parts throughout the stockroom and plant, and bring them into the system. Organize and consolidate stock, relocate parts to labelled locations, and keep aisles and shelving orderly and accessible. Operate a forklift to move, stage, and store parts and materials, and to make efficient use of stockroom and storage space. Pack, secure, and label parts and materials in crates for storage or shipment. Perform cycle counts and help reconcile physical stock against system records, flagging discrepancies to the Coordinator. Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming parts as needed, verifying quantities and part numbers. Report progress on the QR coding project and daily task status, and escalate issues to the Parts Purchasing & Receiving Coordinator. Participate in daily departmental meetings and report daily task status Requirements 3-4 years Experience in inventory, stores, warehouse, or parts handling, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable working in an ERP system (CyFrame, INTERAL, or similar) for data entry, and able to learn company systems quickly (training on CyFrame and INTERAL is provided). Strong attention to detail and accuracy with part numbers, descriptions, locations, and quantities. Well organized, dependable, and able to work steadily through a large volume of repetitive cataloguing and data-entry tasks. Comfortable using handheld scanners, label printers, and basic computer and data-entry tools. Forklift experience is an asset; a valid forklift certification is an asset and training/certification will be provided as required. Good communication skills for working with the Parts Coordinator, maintenance, and other departments. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and standard office software is an asset. Thorough awareness of safety protocols and regulations. Adherence to PPE and all applicable health and safety requirements at all times.
