Job Summary Yazaki Northern Michigan is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packager to join our dynamic Warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality in every package. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help us maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and uphold high standards of inventory management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse procedures while contributing to a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities Prepare and pack orders for shipment Use barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) to help maintain proper inventory control. Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with safety standards, including barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and proper labeling. Employees are also cross-trained in our Warehouse Operations including but not limited to: Forktruck training Loading/unloading material trucks Preparing orders for shipment (banding, shrinkwrapping, etc.) Transferring inventory Stock/Pull orders Physical Requirements Pushing and lifting reels with weights ranging from 3 to 35 pounds. Standing, walking, twisting, and bending for an entire shift. Constant use of shoulders, arms, wrists, and hands for an entire shift.
