Warehouse Package Handler

Responsibilities Load and unload shipments using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners Sort packages accurately according to destination, shipment type, or delivery schedule Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, automatic inserting machines, and other material handling tools safely and efficiently Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving items within the warehouse space Maintain precise records of inventory through data entry and filing systems using Microsoft Office or warehouse management software Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all items are correctly documented and stored Support mail distribution activities, including mail processing and delivery within the facility Conduct shipment sorting and prepare packages for outbound delivery while adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to organize warehouse space, optimize workflow, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met Requirements Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly preferred Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and automatic inserting machines; certification is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, filing, and shipment documentation Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work experience, and standing for extended periods Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and shipment calculations Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or external partners Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with warehouse distribution processes Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Warehouse Package Handler where your energy fuels our success!
