Warehouse Package Handler

Job Overview As a Warehouse Package Handler, you’ll keep packages and materials moving through warehouse operations. You’ll sort shipments, support mail processing, and help prepare items for accurate, timely distribution. Duties Sort, process, load, and unload packages and mail for shipping and receiving. Handle materials manually and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, as authorized. Use automatic inserting machines and complete basic data entry, filing, and Microsoft Office tasks. Organize shipments and records while supporting warehouse distribution and customer service. Your impact: Accurate sorting and careful handling help customers and coworkers receive the right items where they need to go. Requirements Warehouse experience is preferred; familiarity with warehouse operations, shipment sorting, mail distribution, and shipping and receiving is helpful. Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting, and to work outdoors when needed. Basic math, organizational skills, and attention to detail for processing and recordkeeping. Forklift or other material handling equipment operation experience is preferred. Customer service, data entry, filing, Microsoft Office, mail processing, and automatic inserting machine experience are helpful. Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour Work Location: In person
