Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will support daily warehouse operations through a combination of administrative and logistical tasks that keep inventory accurate and shipments on schedule. You will:
• Manage Inventory & Records: Maintain and update inventory using warehouse management systems, assist with cycle counts, and participate in audits.
• Coordinate Shipments: Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, verify documentation, and liaise with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide Administrative Support: Complete data entry, prepare shipping and receiving documents, and maintain compliance records.
• Collaborate & Communicate: Work with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations.
• Support Warehouse Operations: Assist during peak periods and generate operational reports as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or administrative roles preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or data entry tools.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Amazon’s Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Basic knowledge of supply chain or logistics operations.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are a plus.
