About the Role
As a Package Assistant, you will play an essential role in our warehouse team by ensuring that packages are unloaded, sorted, and loaded safely and efficiently. You will work in a supportive environment that prioritizes safety, teamwork, and operational excellence, handling packages with care and attention.
Pay Rate: Up to $19.50/hour
Available Shifts
• Monday-Thursday
6:30 AM - 12:30 PM
1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Friday-Sunday:
• 6:30 AM - 12:30 PM
1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Hours may vary based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code
• Load delivery trucks for outgoing routes
• Assist with daily sorting and warehouse cleanup tasks
• Utilize warehouse equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and crates to move packages weighing up to 75 lbs
Key Requirements
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to lift, push, pull, and move items averaging 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 75 lbs
• Reliable transportation is required, with a commute distance of around 15 miles
• Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Comfortable working in various warehouse temperatures
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred, especially heavy lifting and fast-paced environments
• Valid work authorization and willingness to undergo drug and criminal background screening
