Warehouse Outbound Associate - 1st shift

The Warehouse Outbound Associate  is responsible for a variety of tasks, including accurately & efficiently picking and preparing customer orders while operating equipment such as pallet jacks, ride-on pallet jacks, and pallet-wrapping machines. The role requires a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety.

• Pay rate:  $18.00 per hour.
• Steady Schedule + Seasonal Overtime to Keep Our Customers Smiling: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.  

Key Responsibilities

· Ability to operate powered walkie pallet jack & ride-on pallet jack.

· Accuracy in Picking: Ensure orders are picked and packed with precision to maintain high customer satisfaction and reduce errors.

· Learn and Perform Essential Tasks: Master core duties in the warehouse for Freight, as well as other tasks, such as Direct to Consumer (DTC), Courier, Value-Added Services and Fulfillment. 

· Efficient Order Processing: Pick & confirm orders accurately and efficiently using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

· Report Concerns: Identify and report safety, equipment, or operational issues to the appropriate manager promptly.

· Compliance with Policies: Follow all company policies and protocols, including safety, food safety, sanitation, and maintenance standards.

· Additional Distribution Activities: Support other warehouse functions, such as receiving or inventory replenishment, as directed by management.

· Inventory and Quality Checks: Inspect items for damage, defects, or discrepancies during picking and packing to ensure accuracy and quality.

· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet performance goals and maintain workflow efficiency.

· Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure a seamless workflow.

· Perform multiple roles and responsibilities as directed by management to adapt to changing operational needs.

 Education & Experience  

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating a powered walkie pallet jack or ride-on pallet jack preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Previous experience with inventory management and RF scanners preferred.
• Must understand numbers and letters on an RF scanner.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic math and computer skills in English or least the ability to read numbers and letters. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, squat, climb stairs, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
• Ability to work overtime including Saturdays.
