Warehouse Order Selector

Position Overview The Selector Trainee is responsible for accurately selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and perishable products from warehouse pick slots using equipment like pallet jacks or voice scanners. Key duties include safely operating materials handling equipment, packing items on pallets, applying labels, and transporting pallets to the shipping dock for delivery. Safety is a top priority in all tasks. Responsibilities Ensure work accuracy and compliance with safety standards Utilize technology and pick sheets for product selection Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move products Apply proper wrapping techniques and label pallets Maintain a clean work area and perform equipment inspections Complete assigned duties efficiently, adhering to productivity expectations Work Environment & Skills Work is performed in warehouse settings with temperatures ranging from 28°F to 90°F. Valued skills include operating materials handling equipment, working safely, reliability, and producing quality work. Physical abilities required include lifting up to 60 lbs, standing, walking, and occasional climbing and crawling. Key competencies involve trust-building, customer focus, results-driven mindset, and adaptability. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
