Warehouse Order Selector

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Order Picker. Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm or 7 am to 3:30 pm. Willing to work overtime as needed. Introductory Period: 90-days You will operate warehouse equipment such as a forklift. An order picker must always be on time and able to work long hours on your feet. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and able to “pick up” on small details. We also expect you to be “picky” when ensuring the quality of orders. We are looking for a team player willing to work in all warehouse areas: Receiving, Shipping, or Quality Control. Responsibilities: Receive and check incoming pick tickets Locate products using technology (RF scanner gun) Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc., ensuring accuracy Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks Wrap orders before loading on trucks Re-stock inventory with warehouse equipment Process completed orders – label finished material Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions Follow health & safety policies and quality standards Requirements: Proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment Experience using RF devices Construction background preferred Metal industry preferred Steel and threaded rod experience is a plus Able to read and write in English Great attention to detail Hardworking and punctual Good physical strength and stamina – Must be able to lift 50 lbs Education : A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): How soon are you available to start working full-time?
