Warehouse Order Selector 6PM start-1 year order selector experience required

Description: Scavuzzo’s Foodservice is a family-owned and operated company. We are looking for experienced Order Selectors to join our 2nd shift warehouse team. Position Overview The Order Selector is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders, building pallets, and preparing products for delivery. This position uses the Vocollect system and requires the ability to work quickly, safely, and as part of a team. What You’ll Do Pick and organize orders with multiple products according to invoices. Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment. Load, unload, and stock products in dry, refrigerated, and freezer storage areas. Inspect product for accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Perform other related warehouse duties as assigned. *What We’re Looking For* Previous order selecting experience required . High school diploma or equivalent (or 3–5 years related experience). Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs. and retrieve items from shelves up to 5.5 feet high. Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service. Develops good relationships with all warehouse associates, complies with all company policies. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Picking and organizing whole orders with multiple products accurately and quickly, according to invoice, including completing appropriate paperwork. Load, unload and transfer product to correct slots and locations. Operating forklifts, receiving dock levelers and other warehouse machinery. Stock product in warehouse to include utilizing equipment and lifting and carrying merchandise to place on shelves. Inspect product for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage. Maintain a neat and orderly workplace at all times to include moving pallets, sweeping, and successfully operate manual and electric power jacks. Follow all safety regulations and work in a safe and ergonomic manner. Stock product in a dry storage, cold storage, and freezer storage area. Perform other related duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements: Placement Criteria Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, or 3-5 years in the field or in a related area, or suitable combination of education and relevant experience preferred; Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally at all times.
