Warehouse Order Picker / Packer

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Order Picker / Packer and become an essential part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that every customer receives their products on time and in perfect condition. Responsibilities Efficiently pick orders using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other machinery required for load and unload tasks Pack products securely for shipment, verifying items against order specifications to prevent errors Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items with mechanical knowledge and safety protocols Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation, inventory updates, and quality checks Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following safety standards and operational procedures Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals while adhering to safety guidelines Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse distribution environment or similar setting is preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory control software is highly advantageous Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, or other load-bearing machinery is desirable Mechanical knowledge or construction experience can be beneficial for understanding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during order picking, packing, loading, and unloading tasks Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures ensures smooth logistical operations Prior experience with warehouse safety protocols and heavy equipment operation is a plus Join us in creating a vibrant work environment where your skills make a real impact!
