Scope of Role: The role is responsible for the accurate, timely, and safe handling of products throughout the order fulfillment and shipping process. This role supports warehouse operations by picking, staging, documenting, and shipping inventory while maintaining compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements. Hours of Work: Monday through Friday 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm - 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm – 12:00 am May be required to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays, up to 55 hours per week, due to fluctuating business needs. The company provides as much advance notice as possible when this occurs. The employee may consent to work up to 60 hours per week. Pay: 1st Shift: $19.00/hour 2nd Shift: $19.00/hour base rate plus a $1.00/hour shift differential ($20.00/hour total) Primary Responsibilities: Accurately pick, prepare, and ship products in a timely manner while meeting productivity and quality standards. Review the shipping board daily to identify assigned tasks and complete them as directed. Pull products only from designated picking locations. Complete all required picking documentation, including recording code dates and signing all applicable forms. Perform daily assigned safety inspections, maintain cleanliness in designated work areas, and report completion to your supervisor before the end of each shift. Ensure all warehouse-related paperwork is accurate, complete, legible, and submitted in a timely manner. Immediately report all accidents, injuries, incidents, unsafe conditions, or near-miss events to the Lead or Supervisor on duty. Maintain effective and professional communication with Leads, Supervisors, and other members of the management team. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support business operations. Assisting with physical inventory on Saturdays at the end of the month. Following all safety policies for the personal safety of self and team members. May require personal protective equipment based on work assigned. Following Good Manufacturing Practices for the quality and safety of food products, including wearing a smock and hairnet in packaging areas. Requires removal of jewelry and cosmetic accessories (false eyelashes, artificial nails, etc.). Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use warehouse management systems, email, and other business-related software. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and management. Physical Demands: Frequently stand and walk throughout the shift. Regularly use hands and arms to reach, handle, and operate equipment and tools. Frequently communicate with team members and hear verbal instructions and alarms. Occasionally sit, climb, balance, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and move items up to 10 lbs. Frequently lift and move items up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Must have the ability to see clearly at close and long distances, maintain peripheral vision and depth perception, and adjust focus as needed to safely perform job duties.
