Warehouse Order Picker

Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Order Picker, where your energy and precision will drive efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and in perfect condition. Duties Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting practices Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS), conducting regular stock checks and updates Prepare orders for shipping by packaging items securely according to quality standards and safety protocols Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming stock against purchase orders and updating inventory systems accordingly Adhere strictly to safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents during warehouse activities Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with a focus on order picking, packing, or inventory management Certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, or pallet jacks is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order quantities Strong understanding of safety protocols related to manual handling, heavy equipment operation, and warehouse environment compliance Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality control throughout the fulfillment process Prior experience in shipping & receiving, stock replenishment, or materials handling is a plus Join us in delivering exceptional service through precise order fulfillment!
