Warehouse Order Picker

Job Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Order Picker, where your energy and precision will drive efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for accurately selecting products, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring timely packing and shipping of customer orders. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy. Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols and manual handling procedures. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts, inventory management systems, and quality control checks. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipment contents and preparing items for dispatch. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and ensuring proper packaging for shipment. Follow safety guidelines consistently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to promote a safe working environment. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and basic math skills for order accuracy. Experience in order fulfillment, packing, shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling is preferred. Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety protocols while performing manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting or load/unload operations.
