Key Responsibilities:
• Efficiently select and package customer requests.
• Refill stock based on guidance from picking documents or portable electronic devices.
• Make arrangements to ensure products are ready for secure and prompt delivery.
• Confirming the correctness of deliveries by cross-referencing shipping labels, packing slips, and electronic databases.
• Deliver orders to shipping sections with the use of manual material handling tools efficiently.
• Conduct stock checks and support in conducting physical counts of inventory as required.
• Keep the work area tidy, structured, and secure.
• Engage in tasks that involve various departments, such as inbound and outbound operations, domestic and international shipping, as well as receiving functions.
Key Accountabilities:
• Meet customer demands promptly and precisely.
• Conduct a thorough examination of product stock based on designated areas.
• Uphold the established standards for organization and safety within the warehouse setting.
The necessary educational background and practical skills are mandatory:
• Preference is given to candidates with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prioritize candidates with up to one year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).
• Having at least one year of background in order processing, shipping and receiving, or warehouse management is preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS software like JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, and SAP is advantageous.
• Capable of safely lifting and transporting objects weighing up to 50 lbs during the entire work period.
• Capable of being on one's feet and moving around for the majority of the work period.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Being highly focused on the specifics.
• Proficiency in adhering to directions and collaborating effectively with a group or autonomously.
• Proficient in utilizing technology and warehouse machinery.
