Warehouse Order PickerJob Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to join our distribution team. In this position, you will be responsible for selecting merchandise, verifying order accuracy, organizing inventory, and preparing products for shipment. You will help maintain efficient warehouse operations while ensuring that customer orders are processed correctly and on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Locate and collect products from designated warehouse storage locations according to order requirements. Verify product descriptions, quantities, and item numbers to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Use RF scanners, barcode readers, and warehouse management systems to track products and update inventory records. Package, label, and organize completed orders for shipping and distribution. Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers when properly trained and authorized. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments. Replenish stock, arrange products in assigned storage areas, and maintain accurate inventory levels. Inspect merchandise for damage, missing items, or incorrect quantities and report any issues to supervisors. Support daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and quality assurance activities. Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse aisles and workstations. Follow company safety policies, proper lifting procedures, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. Work closely with warehouse team members to complete assigned orders efficiently and meet daily operational goals. Qualifications & Requirements Basic math skills for counting inventory, checking quantities, and verifying customer orders. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and handle warehouse merchandise. Good organizational skills and a dependable work ethic. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with coworkers. Previous experience in warehouse operations, order picking, packing, stocking, or shipping and receiving is preferred but not required. Familiarity with RF scanners, barcode systems, and warehouse inventory software is beneficial. Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, or similar warehouse equipment is an advantage. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and proper material handling practices. Previous warehouse supervisory experience is a plus but not required. Why Join Our Team?
