• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Forklift Certification is required (training available).
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will be required to operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift. The employee will frequently lift and /or move up to 25-35 pounds, (case of beer weight) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 165 pounds. Lifting assistance is available in the form of pallet jacks and other automated tools
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operates forklift and/or electric pallet jack.
• Operates in a safe fashion consistent with company safety policy.
• Builds individual loads for deliveries with accuracy and stability.
• This requires manual handling of cases of products including beer, wine, liquor, soda other beverages and kegs.
• Transports built pallets to the shrink wrap machines, wraps and stages product in assigned area for loading.
