Warehouse Operator / MRO Buyer

This is an entry level position for someone looking to work in a supply chain environment. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking, and reliable individual to support our warehouse and MRO inventory needs at our McKeesport Pipe manufacturing facility. Employee must be able to work effectively in a team, have good communication skills and willingness to learn/train. Full Time Hourly: Monday - Thursday 5:30am to 3:30pm, Friday 5:30am to 1:30pm Basic Duties: Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders and requisitions to assess supply needs. Receive and count stock items, and record data using computer. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Mark stock items using identification tags, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, shipments, and goods used or issued. Operate company truck and fork truck to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated locations. Purchase new or additional stock and prepare documents that provide for such purchases. Experience: Experience working in warehouse, storeroom or inventories system preferred but not required. Customer service experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints preferred but not required. ERP System experience (NetSuite) preferred but not required. Will Train. Minimum requirements: Physical: Performing General Physical Activities - Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Must be able to lift 75#’s Computer: Must have strong computer skills with proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to use a UPS computer system for tracking and package labels. Will Train. Must pass fork truck and overhead crane training/certifications. Valid PA drivers license. This is a permanent position and all considered applicants must pass background & substance screening.
