POSITION SUMMARY The Warehouse Operator IV role is the SME in their functional area, responsible for performing day-to-day duties including managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols in addition to being able to fulfill duties of Warehouse I, II and III as needed.. Acting as the primary point person on the floor for the team, they oversee and guide workflow, troubleshoot issues, and provide support and training to team members to help achieve department goals and site KPIs. The incumbent temporarily leads the department in the absence of a Supervisor/Manager, providing them with timely business updates, including challenges and successes amongst the team. Additionally, the Warehouse IV collaborates with other teams throughout the warehouse to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement. The Warehouse IV Operator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and receives daily direction and guidance. Shift : Day Shift (7:00a-7:30p) and Night shift (7:00p-7:30a) available Schedule: 3/2/2 Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other advanced material handling equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to designated areas. Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments against relevant documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders. Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems. Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible. Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate daily activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure efficient workflow. Provide updates, report issues, and contribute to a positive work environment. Collaborate with team members to accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines. Act as an on-the-job trainer and deliver essential training to associates for specific job functions. Perform general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned.
