Base Compensation Range: $18.15 - $22.65 This temporary role supports our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing. Job Summary The temporary Warehouse Operator II is a mid-level position responsible for supporting warehouse operations related to inventory management. This role involves receiving, stocking, loading, unloading and shipping products while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory processes. Duties/Responsibilities Receiving Inventory: Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and product specifications against purchase orders. Inspect products for quality and report discrepancies or damages to supervisors. Inventory Management: Properly store products in designated locations, optimizing space and facilitating easy access for order fulfillment. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and manual logs. Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer specifications and company standards. Prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips and shipping labels, ensuring compliance with regulations. Inventory Audits: Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies. Conduct spot checks to verify inventory accuracy and support continuous improvement initiatives. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Properly handle and store materials and equipment, adhering to OSHA regulations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and improve warehouse efficiency. Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order processing. Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, following safety guidelines. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors. Training and Mentorship: Assist in training new employees on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Provide guidance to entry-level operators to enhance team performance and efficiency. Experience/Education High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or inventory management. Knowledge and Skillsets Required Proficient in warehouse management software and basic computer applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Demands Standing or walking: Extended periods standing or walking throughout the warehouse. Using computers: Typing and using the computer. Manual dexterity: Handling various operating equipment. Bending and reaching: Frequently reaching overhead, bending Environmental Conditions Workspace: Work environment temperature may vary depending on warehouse.
