Work Requirements:
• Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), with potential for overtime or Saturday work.
Hourly Rate: $22.00 USD
Shift Differential: +$1.50 for hours worked between 6 pm - 6 am
Job Responsibilities:
• Support daily distribution center functions such as receiving, picking, storing, packaging, and shipping.
• Transport, store, and stage products with an emphasis on quality and productivity.
• Manage shipping orders via RF scanners, navigating relevant paperwork and box packaging.
• Conduct data entry, verify merchandise scan-ins, and ensure accurate inventory counts.
• Construct shipping boxes tailored to product heights, weights, and contents.
• Create shipping labels for multiple carriers by accurately entering details; potential for creating international waybills.
• Utilize various computer systems for order consolidation, commercial invoices, and label creation.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials independently or collaboratively.
• Opportunity for training in forklift operation and OSHA10 certification.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks and floor lifts.
• Report equipment malfunctions and necessary repairs to the appropriate channels.
Who We’re Looking For:
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience; previous warehouse experience is an asset.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions (data input, reading instructions from screens) on warehouse computer systems.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Experience operating forklifts, stack pickers, or manual pallet jacks is a plus.
• This job requires standing or walking for extended periods, bending to floor level, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Collaborative spirit to work with team members, leads, and supervisors to achieve departmental production and quality goals.
• Comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards.
• Exemplify teamwork and collaboration.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment by following established safety procedures.
• Organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and uphold 5S standards in the facility.
• Reliability and the ability to report consistently to scheduled shifts, including possible overtime.
