Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize forklifts to securely transport materials across the warehouse area.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments from trucks and containers.
• Relocate items to designated storage zones and preparation points.
• Ensure the correct placement and stacking of materials to prevent any harm.
• Support the maintenance of accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Daily forklift maintenance checks should be conducted to detect and report any mechanical defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
• Ensure the warehouse maintains cleanliness and organization consistently.
Qualifications:
• Confirmed experience operating a forklift in warehouse or logistics scenarios.
• A valid forklift operator certification is needed, or readiness to pursue certification if missing.
• Robust familiarity with warehouse operations and the critical emphasis on safety standards implementation.
• Ability to handle heavy items and operate effectively in a physically challenging workplace.
• Great emphasis on details and adept organizational expertise.
• Ability to successfully navigate individual projects and group projects.
• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred for candidates.
