THE ROLE The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, material handling, inventory movement, staging of materials for production and inventory control. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring material availability for manufacturing, and sustaining a safe, organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Operator works closely with warehouse leadership, production teams, and logistics partners to support efficient material flow throughout the facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and components. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Move and store materials in designated warehouse locations according to inventory procedures. Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments. Perform accurate data entry for inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems. Assist with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance resolution. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment. Conduct daily equipment and area inspections to ensure readiness and safety compliance. Follow all company safety policies, mandatory PPE requirements, and operational guidelines. Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Support cross-functional tasks and provide assistance to production as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material-handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred). Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Excel, data entry). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, walking, and bending.
