Warehouse Operator
Montano'sMontano Inc., a food distribution company in Hamden, CT, is looking for a dependable Warehouse Operator to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities: - Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately - Load and unload delivery trucks - Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against paperwork - Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely - Keep inventory organized and assist with inventory counts - Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and follow all food-safety and company procedures Requirements: - Warehouse or distribution experience preferred - Forklift certification required - applicants must hold a valid forklift certification - Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the full shift - Reliable transportation and consistent, on-time attendance - this is essential for the role - Must speak English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred Pay: $19.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, occasional Saturdays Pay: $19.00 per hour Work Location: In person
