Position: Warehouse Operator

Location: Burlington, Ontario

Status: Permanent, full-time (1). This is a replacement.  

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with a weekly rotation between day (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) and evening shifts (10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)

We are currently looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our operations team in Burlington, Ontario as a Warehouse Operator! Here are your main responsibilities as a Warehouse Operator:

• Receiving, storage, shipping of all stock items as per defined policies, procedures, and protocols
• Pick and prepare customer orders on a daily basis.
• Assists with safety programs in warehouse (TDG, WHMIS, ISO, Responsible Distribution, etc.)
• Assist with general up-keeping of building and warehouse equipment including lift-trucks, scales, etc.
• Special instruction implementation including bulk handling, drumming, repackaging, etc.
• Participation in related training on products, storage, safety, etc.  
• Operate Double Reach Trucks and Counterbalance forklift trucks with proper certification
• Sending paperwork (i.e. warehouse release, bill of lading, certificates of analysis and cover sheet)
• Review daily shipment edit list to ensure orders are being handled to meet customer needs and expectations
• Assist in physical counts of inventory
• Printing warehouse release requests, bill of ladings, certificates of analysis
• Ensuring accurate inventory (quantity/lots/locations)
• Regular communication with Logistics, Customer Service and Procurement functions to ensure we are meeting customer and operational requirements

What are the main requirements needed to have success in this Warehouse position ? :

• Completed high school diploma
• Minimum of 1 to 3+ years of warehouse experience in an order picking or distribution warehouse is a must
• Experience in food distribution facility is an asset
• Experience operating Crown double or single Reach Trucks will be considered a strong asset
• Experience operating Counterbalance battery powered fork-lifts
• Ability to push, lift and hold loads of up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Must demonstrate particular attention to safety standards
• Good teamwork skills, self-motivation and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• WHMIS/TDG experience (considered an asset)
• Computer experience with Warehouse Management System software is preferred and candidates must have better than average computer skills
• Experience with JD Edwards will be considered a strong asset
• Must be able to workday shifts and evening shifts (rotating shift)

Compensation Information: The estimated hourly salary for this position ranges between $25.14 and $32.99/hr. Please note that this salary range is provided for informational purposes only. Individual total compensation may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. This position is also eligible for a generous incentive program and comprehensive benefits. Quadra’s salary ranges are market-based and determined by role and level. The final base salary will be aligned with the selected candidate’s qualifications, skills, and work location.
