Warehouse Operator / 3PL Operations Associate
US LaunchpadWe are looking for a motivated, reliable and highly organised Warehouse Operator / 3PL Operations Associate to join our small and busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse operations, inventory management, technology and direct client communication . The successful candidate will be comfortable working at pace, switching between physical warehouse tasks and computer-based work, and taking ownership of problems from start to finish. Because we are a small team, everyone plays an important role in the day-to-day operation. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, hardworking and willing to get involved wherever needed . Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently. Receive, unload, check and put away incoming stock. Check deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders, identifying and reporting discrepancies. Complete stock movements, transfers and inventory adjustments. Assist with cycle counts and regular inventory checks. Label, barcode and organise products and warehouse locations. Prepare orders for parcel and freight shipments. Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment and forklifts when required and appropriately trained. Assist with general warehouse duties and projects as needed. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on warehouse position and may involve significant physical labor and heavy lifting on a regular basis . Ability to safely lift, carry, move and stack boxes and products of varying sizes and weights. Regularly walking, standing, bending, reaching and moving around the warehouse throughout the workday. Some products and shipments may be bulky, awkward or heavy and will require safe handling techniques. Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. Appropriate training and equipment will be provided where required. Computer & Systems Use multiple warehouse, shipping, inventory and customer-management systems on a daily basis. Accurately process orders, inventory movements, shipments and receiving information. Troubleshoot system or order issues and identify the appropriate solution. Learn new software and processes quickly. Maintain a high level of accuracy when entering and reviewing data. Work confidently between multiple systems and browser windows without losing attention to detail. Client & Account Management Communicate directly with clients regarding orders, inventory, shipments and general account queries. Respond to client requests professionally and promptly. Investigate and resolve client issues, discrepancies and questions. Keep clients informed when problems arise and follow issues through to resolution. Build positive working relationships with clients and understand their individual requirements. Ensure client-specific packing, shipping and inventory requirements are followed correctly. Problem Solving & Teamwork Identify problems before they become larger issues and take proactive action. Investigate stock discrepancies, order issues and shipping problems. Think logically and find practical solutions rather than simply passing problems on. Prioritise workload effectively during busy periods. Work closely with the rest of the warehouse team to meet daily deadlines. Be willing to help across all areas of the operation when required.
