WHAT YOU’LL DO Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine materials to move or distribute Move materials between receiving, production, storage, and shipping areas Sort and store items on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, or product code Pick, fill, and distribute orders, requisitions, and stock requests Assemble customer orders and prepare them for shipping or packing Label and mark materials with identifying information Open containers such as bales, crates, and boxes Record quantities of materials received and distributed Weigh and count items to ensure accuracy and compliance Arrange stock parts for assembly by other workers Use computers to input/retrieve records and operate shipping/labeling equipment (including UPS systems) Prepare packages and parcels for shipment Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications Operate a forklift to move or collect materials (if applicable) Complete requisition forms to order supplies Work overtime as needed WHAT YOU’LL BRING High school diploma or GED 1–3 months of related experience or training (or equivalent combination) Basic reading and writing skills for instructions and correspondence Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and customers Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve routine problems Physical ability to: Stand, walk, and use hands regularly Lift up to 50 lbs frequently Perform movements like climbing, balancing, stooping, or kneeling Comfort working in varying conditions (heat, cold, noise, outdoor exposure) Ability to use computers and warehouse equipment Forklift operation capability (training required if applicable) ENVIRONMENT YOU’LL WORK IN Work in a warehouse/shipping environment including loading docks and outdoor storage areas Exposure to: Weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity), Moving machinery and elevated areas and loud noise levels WHAT WE OFFER Heath, Dental, Vision Insurance Health Savings/Flexible Spending Accounts (HSA/FSA) Life & Supplemental Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) 11 Paid Holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Team Events Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
