Warehouse Operations Supervisor (CBT Sortation Warehouse)

Position: Warehouse Operations Supervisor (CBT Sortation Warehouse)Location: New Jersey (on-site, full-time) Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 base salary per year, plus a 20% bonus; higher compensation negotiable for exceptional candidates Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM or 7:00 PM–3:30 AM, based on operational needs. Immigration support: Available; specific options discussed based on the candidate's experience and circumstances Key Responsibilities -Oversee daily operations of the CBT (Collect by TikTok) sortation warehouse, including inbound receiving, scanning, sorting, consolidation, staging, and outbound processing. -Supervise and manage warehouse associates, team leads, and temporary staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. -Develop daily staffing plans and allocate manpower based on shipment volume, operational requirements, and business priorities.-Monitor daily operational performance, including productivity, sortation accuracy, scanning accuracy, processing volume, and on-time shipment performance. -Establish and maintain operational standards, SOPs, and work procedures to ensure consistent execution across all warehouse functions. -Monitor workflow and identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and operational risks; implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and throughput. -Manage inbound and outbound package flow to ensure shipments are processed accurately and within required cut-off times. -Oversee exception handling, including damaged parcels, missing packages, incorrect labels, system discrepancies, mis-sorts, and other operational issues.-Conduct regular audits and quality checks to identify process gaps and reduce sorting errors, package loss, and shipment delays. -Coordinate with transportation, line-haul, fulfillment, customer service, and other internal teams to resolve operational issues and ensure timely shipment movement. -Track and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational KPIs and prepare performance reports for management. -Identify trends and root causes behind productivity, quality, and service-level issues and develop improvement plans.-Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, labor utilization, package flow, and operational processes. -Ensure compliance with company policies, warehouse SOPs, OSHA requirements, and all applicable health and safety regulations. -Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure employees follow proper lifting, material handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety procedures. -Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees on operational procedures, productivity expectations, quality standards, and safety requirements. -Manage employee attendance, scheduling, performance, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies. -Work closely with HR and staffing agencies on recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, attendance, and employee-related issues. -Monitor warehouse equipment, supplies, and operational resources and coordinate maintenance or replenishment when necessary. -Maintain accurate operational records, including shipment volume, labor hours, productivity, quality, exceptions, and incident reports. -Support peak-season planning and develop contingency plans for high-volume periods, staffing shortages, transportation delays, and other operational disruptions. -Ensure the warehouse maintains a clean, organized, and efficient working environment. -Perform other operational and management duties as assigned by senior management. Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM or 7:00 PM–3:30 AM, based on operational needs.
