Job Overview The Warehouse Operations Supervisor supports the profitability, safety, and efficiency of DTS's warehouse and cold storage operations in Denver, Co.. This role oversees customer service, inventory management, staffing, warehouse operations, food safety compliance, employee training, and warehouse management systems (WMS). The position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Occasional weekend work and limited travel may be required. Key Responsibilities Support daily warehouse and cold storage operations to ensure efficient, profitable service. Assist with customer relations, pricing, and account setup. Schedule labor and staffing to meet operational demands and productivity goals. Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of employees. Ensure compliance with all company policies and food safety regulations, including SQF, FSMA, HACCP, and OSHA standards. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Oversee inventory accuracy, product storage, scanning, and warehouse space utilization. Ensure timely receiving, put-away, and retrieval of customer inventory through the WMS. Assist with SOP development, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Serve as a WMS power user and trainer, supporting systems such as Accellos and Datex. Recommend operational improvements and equipment investments to increase efficiency and profitability. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in warehouse, cold storage, food distribution, or related operations. Experience training employees and documenting corrective actions. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient with warehouse management systems and computer applications. Certifications & Requirements Forklift certification. Food handling certification. Ability to obtain SQF Practitioner and HACCP certifications. Ability to become the facility's WMS super user and train team members on warehouse systems.
