Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Transline SupplyJob Description The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is a hands-on leadership position. They will oversee daily warehouse operations and direct employees while regularly performing receiving, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse work. Responsibilities Leadership and Daily Operations: · Oversee and provide directions to all warehouse employees · Set daily priorities and assign work based on order volume and operational needs · Monitor productivity, accuracy, attendance, and employee performance · Train employees on warehouse procedures, equipment, safety, and quality expectations · Address performance or conduct concerns and document issues when necessary · Participate in hiring, evaluations, disciplinary discussions, and employee development · Coordinate schedules, breaks, coverage, and time off requests · Identify workflow issues and implement improvements · Communicate staffing, inventory, and operational concerns to upper management · Ensure company policies and warehouse procedures are consistently followed Warehouse Daily Operations: · Work alongside the team to receive, pick, pack, and ship orders · Build, wrap, load, and unload pallets · Verify incoming shipments, outgoing orders, quantities, packaging, and paperwork for accuracy · Prioritize rush orders and special shipping requests · Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, shortages, damage, and incorrect items · Maintain accurate inventory locations and organize warehouse space · Monitor warehouse equipment, packaging materials, and supplies · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse Required Qualifications: · 6+ Years Previous warehouse experience · 3+ Years Previous supervisory, management, or team leadership experience · Forklift experience required · Certifications, degrees, or continuing education related to warehouse operations or management are a plus but not required. · Knowledge of receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping procedures · Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills · Strong attention to detail and ability to adjust priorities as needed · Dependable attendance and punctuality · Basic computer and inventory system experience Physical Requirements: · Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the workday · Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds · Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment Please submit a resume along with applying for the position.
